Q Acoustics continues on the path indicated by the Concept 500, but in a reduced size and the end result is an absolutely shockingly stunning and also visually striking tripod speaker.
The secret of the sound served by the speaker lies in the Dual Gelcore housing structure used by Q Acoustics, which allows extra vibrations and resonances to disappear into the deep veins of the speaker housing, thus not cluttering the outgoing sound. The accompanying stand has also received special attention and utilizes the Tensegrity principle, ie the interplay of tension and unity. In practice, this means that the speaker seems to "float" in the air, as there is no direct contact surface between the floated base plate of the speaker and the stand in the traditional sense.
Investments have also been made in element technology and the big brother Concept 500 has been further refined. The tweeter is the same as the big brother, but the bass element has been further processed to make it sound optimal in a much smaller case. The end result is downright incredible resolution and a three-dimensional sound image that takes the listener to the depths of the work in a whole new way.
