Advance Acoustic BX-2 and 215 watts mono to 8 ohms, hard to believe? The BX-2 has been inspired by Advance Acoustics' flagship amplifiers and brought lessons to this compact power amplifier. The BX-2 is at home for both sensitive music listening and explosive movie scenes, as it has the power to command even the most difficult speakers.
The BX-2 combines the best selected components with an oversized ring core transformer that can feed the terminal's hunger for power even at high volumes. The terminal is also equipped with a High Bias function that gives the first watts of the amplifier in Class A and then switches to Class AB. The BX-2 power amplifier has both mono RCA and a balanced XLR connection. The selection between the inputs is made with the switch on the rear panel as well as in the High Bias function. The input sensitivity (-12, -6, -3 or 0dB) as well as the front panel lighting level are also selectable from the rear panel switches. Available in black and white.
